About This Game
Pokémon Scarlet NSP ROM is a role-playing (RPG) game that offers a captivating experience and many welcome improvements, even if some aspects still need development in future versions. You can download it free here!
A new generation of Pokémon is coming, marking a radical departure from the traditional formula. Nintendo has announced Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple ($59.99 each), the first two open-world Pokémon games (actually, it’s one game, as each generation of Pokémon has different versions, but the core gameplay remains the same). After an hour playing the Scarlet/Violet demo on Nintendo Switch, we recommend that fans of open-world games keep a close eye on these two new titles, which are scheduled for release on November 18.

Legendary Pokémon combine many of the Arceus vehicle features, allowing you to climb and glide almost anywhere, giving the open world a similar feel to Breath of the Wild. This mobility is very convenient and is further facilitated by the quick access points found in every Pokémon Center. However, this impressive mobility risks making the game world feel small. We’ll have to wait for the full version of the game to see how this develops. Inspired by Arceus, Scarlet/Violet combines fast-paced adventures, chases, and battles. All wild Pokémon are visible in the open world, allowing for agile movement and sending your Pokémon to fight wild creatures.
It’s also possible to engage in classic Pokémon battles when encountering other Pokémon. However, this can prove more frustrating than controlling the game’s pace, as small Pokémon can suddenly appear out of nowhere and attack. But the game changes with Pokémon Trainers. Instead of battling other Trainers as in other games in the series, in Scarlet/Violet, you approach them and challenge them to a duel. Having played Scarlet, I can confidently say that the game here is much more focused on Trainers. These upcoming RPGs represent a true reinvention of the Pokémon style, and I didn’t expect them to take such a novel direction.
Starfall Street Challenge: My Personal Experience
If Pokémon Sword and Shield represented Game Freak’s attempt to introduce open-world elements into the Pokémon universe, the new games offer the opposite: a diverse mix of Pokémon systems and concepts integrated into open-world gameplay. As with many recent Pokémon games, I have a feeling this isn’t the last installment in the series. However, for those yearning for a real change, Pokémon Scarlet and Purple are undoubtedly the most significant evolution of the series to date and, in my experience, a step in the right direction. The Baldia region in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple will be an open world, allowing players to explore at their own pace.
Furthermore, players will be able to explore Paldea with their friends, thanks to the cooperative mode available throughout the main story of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple. These additional features demonstrate Game Freak’s ambitious vision for its latest Pokémon game. Inspired by games like Pokémon Legends: Arceus, these titles offer a glimpse into the vast open region of Paldea, with its seemingly limitless areas. However, despite the apparent ambition of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, some fear they may not live up to expectations. Early impressions of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple are already starting to circulate online.
