About This Game
Stray NSP ROM is a third-person adventure game where you control a cat. Explore the detailed, neon-lit streets and seedy underbelly of a crumbling cyberpunk city. Navigate your way around, protect yourself from unexpected dangers, and unravel the mysteries of this hostile place filled with curious droids and dangerous creatures.
In this game, you experience the world through the eyes of a cat and interact with the environment in hilarious ways. Be sneaky, agile, mischievous, and sometimes as annoying as you can be to the strange inhabitants of this mysterious world.
The game takes the original concept and interprets it in an interesting way. A blend of classic platforming and adventure games, this neon-lit, robot-filled cyberpunk world is transformed from a perspective where your character is just an inch above the ground into a vast play area. Playing as a normal cat may seem ridiculous at first glance, but Stray tells a truly captivating story, full of action and fun, with this adorable character as the main character. Although not all of its ideas work, its irresistible charm had me captivated from the first minutes.
Unforgettable Journey With the B-12
You stumble, you faint, you wake up, you catch your breath. Finally, you regain consciousness and find more tunnels to explore. These lead to narrow, winding streets, filled with abandoned buildings and the remains of an extinct civilization. You jump and cross balconies and fences, windows, manhole covers, and holes in old fences. Far from the blue sky you came from, this sky is gray, hazy, and sprawling in muddy darkness. It could be the night sky or something even more ominous, like a smog cloud or a distant rooftop. Wandering around this world is fun, but the fluidity of movement is constantly hampered by the imposed limitations.
By holding down the jump button, the cat can easily jump from one level to another, but it’s not always easy to find the next level. So, instead of fast, fluid movement, you often stop, reposition yourself, find a new ledge, and make a series of short jumps to the next obstacle. The player controls a nameless red cat whose sole goal, after being separated from its pack, is to get back home. Stray’s developers perfectly capture the cat’s beautiful agility and subtle physical behaviors. Fun little details, like scratching doors and knocking objects off shelves, are cleverly integrated into the gameplay and puzzle-solving.
Live Life With Lightness, Agility, and an Adventurous Spirit
Equipped with a dedicated meow button, the cat is a silent hero. The stray remains silent until he befriends a small drone named B12. The drone acts as his companion and translator. Through him, you will interact with dozens of NPC robots who have adopted human-like behavior long after the pandemic wiped out humanity. You will soon discover that the inhabitants of this deep and detailed city, where every corner resembles a settlement and is incredibly complex, are trying to escape. This premise forms the basis of a dynamic story that addresses themes such as loss, resilience, and the power of unexpected bonds. In short, without giving away too much, it all culminates in a wonderful finale.
In Stray, you initially play as a stray cat surrounded by other cats. During a jump, you slip and fall into a dark abyss. A short time later, you wake up surrounded by trash and gloomy streets and buildings.
